Privacy policy
Capital Markets Bulletin is a static publication that collects as little as it can. There are no accounts, no newsletter sign-up, no forms, no advertising and no tracking. This page explains the little that does happen.
We set no cookies and run no analytics
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics or measurement product, embeds no advertising, social or tracking scripts, and loads no fonts, images or code from a third-party host. Nothing about your visit is used to build a profile of you, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing. There is no consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify records technical information when a page is served — your IP address, the time, the page requested, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page — for the ordinary purposes of delivering the site, keeping it secure and diagnosing faults. These logs are held by our host under its own privacy terms and are not used by us to identify individual readers or combined with anything else.
Market data on the page
Pages showing market levels refresh those numbers while the page is open by calling a small endpoint on this site's own domain. That endpoint fetches the data from our upstream market-data provider from our own server, not from your browser — so your IP address and your visit are never disclosed to the data provider. Your browser talks to cmbulletin.com and nothing else. If you have JavaScript turned off, the page still works and simply shows the levels as at the time it was published.
Links out
Entries cite their sources and the industry wire links to other publishers. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, subject to their privacy practices, not ours. We have no control over and take no responsibility for what they collect.
If you write to us
If you send us an email — a correction, a question, a complaint — we keep that correspondence so we can deal with it and keep a record of how it was handled. We use it for that purpose only. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list, because we do not operate one.
Your rights
Because we hold no reader accounts and no profiles, in most cases there is simply nothing about you for us to produce or erase. Where we do hold something — correspondence you have sent us — you may ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it, and you may complain to your data-protection authority if you are not satisfied with how we respond. Requests go to info@cmbulletin.com.
Children
This is a financial publication written for an adult professional and investing audience. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If our practices change — if we ever add analytics, for instance — we will update this page before doing so, not afterwards.
Contact
Privacy questions, and requests about anything we hold, go to info@cmbulletin.com. The publication is operated by Capital Markets Bulletin.
